The Ontario Clean Air Alliance led the successful campaign to phase-out Ontario’s five dirty coal-fired power plants. We are now working to move to a zero carbon electricity grid by 2035, and lower electricity bills, through an integrated combination of energy conservation and efficiency, cost-effective Made-in-Ontario green energy, and energy cooperation with Hydro Quebec.Today, the OCAA is working on the next step to clean up our electricity grid by phasing out gas power. As a first step we’re calling for Ontario to triple its wind and solar and double its energy efficiency.
