Künstliche Konkurrenz: "Viele menschliche Tätigkeiten sind nicht so ausgefeilt, wie wir heute noch denken", ist Neurowissenschaftler Henning Beck überzeugt. Dennoch glaubt er nicht, dass ChatGPT in naher Zukunft Steuerberaterinnen, Grafikdesigner oder Medienschaffende ersetzen wird. Although the business community has made progress toward climate goals since the 2015 Paris Agreement, fewer than one-fifth of net-zero targets set by national and subnational governments and only a third of the largest public corporations with net-zero targets actually meet science-aligned criteria. Further, anti-climate lobbying has had a disastrous effect on the planet and cost years in meaningful action. Inaction is not an option. Businesses committed to being on the right side of history must advocate for policies, regulations, and laws to achieve economy-wide systemic change at the pace and scale required to achieve climate targets. Based on their cross-organizational work at three B Corps, the authors identified five critical elements for advocacy strategies that will help businesses use their power and influence to push for the system change required to meet climate targets.

Hier lernen Jugendliche und andere Interessierte ohne Programmier-Erfahrung und technisches Hintergrund-Wissen, die Welt des maschinellen Lernens und der künstlichen Intelligenz zu verstehen. Wir führen Sie dazu in die grundlegenden Konzepte ein. Dabei erfahren Sie, wo die Unterschiede zwischen herkömmlicher Programmierung und der Entwicklung selbstlernender Software liegen. Anhand von Beispielen erfahren Sie, was überwachtes, nicht überwachtes und verstärkendes Lernen sind. Denn diese Konzepte bilden den Kern für die Algorithmen, welche das maschinelle Lernen bewirken. Erleben Sie anhand einer konkreten Anwendung, wie mit einem solchen Lernprozess Muster und Strukturen in großen Datenmengen erkannt werden können. Auch auf ethische Fragen beim Einsatz künstlicher Intelligenz sowie die Begrenzungen der Technologie maschinellen Lernens wird in dem vierwöchigen Gratis-Kurs eingegangen. Geleitet wird er von den Masterstudenten Johannes Hötter und Christian Warmuth.

In diesem vierwöchigen Gratis-Kurs können Jugendliche und andere Interessierte ohne Programmier-Erfahrung und technisches Hintergrundwissen lernen, wie Machine Learning Projekte in der Praxis umgesetzt werden können. Wir wollen dabei das Basiswissen aus dem Kurs “[Künstliche Intelligenz und Maschinelles Lernen für Einsteiger][1]” weiter vertiefen und Ihnen ein Gefühl für die Chancen und Herausforderungen von Machine Learning Projekten in der Praxis vermitteln. Dafür betrachten wir mehrere konkrete Anwendungsfälle - unter anderem die Erkennung von Gebärdensprache aus Bildern und die Stimmungsanalyse von Zeitungsartikeln.
