Trianglify.io · Low Poly Pattern Generator
Free tool for creating triangle patterns. Vary the colors, size, variability of the triangles, etc. These make good backgrounds; I have used similar patterns for blog posts. Low res downloads are free, but high res downloads must be purchased
Avatar Maker - Create Your Own Avatar Online
Free tool for creating avatars. I don't see licensing info, so it appears to be free to use. This only creates head shots, and the choices are limited. The SVG version of the download has editable layers, so you potentially could edit it for other expressions.
Pose - Easy Character Guidelines by Gal Shir
App for creating poses for characters. These are just outlines, which you'd have to illustrate yourself in another app. Kevin Thorn demonstrated this as a way to create custom characters for scenarios, which you can pose in exactly the way you need. This is a browser-based app, currently $19.
Recraft
An AI image generating tool for vector art and illustrations. This looks like it would be useful for creating icon or illustration variations on a theme while keeping a consistent color scheme. I also wonder if you could use it to create variations on vector character images for scenarios.
AI Image Enlarger | Enlarge Image Without Losing Quality!
This tool uses AI to clean up low resolution images and make high resolution versions of them. You can do a limited number of images each month for free or more with a paid plan.
Playground AI
Edit and combine images using AI. Rather than starting from scratch like other AI image tools, with this tool you start with one or more existing images and enhance them with AI. There's a free account with a large daily image limit, but it says the quality will be limited after the first 50 images. Still, that's enough to try how it works.

Ideogram: Helping people become more creative.
AI Image generation tool. Unlike Midjourney and many other tools, this tool can generate text accurate. For example, include in the prompt "a sign that says "Elearning Development," and that exact text will appear in your image.
Banner GPT
Paste the text of a blog post into this tool, and it generates banner images for you based on the title and content. Since I've been experimenting with AI for images for my blog already, this looks like a tool worth testing out. If you're not a blogger, perhaps this could help you create header images for Rise courses or similar content?
Vidnoz AI Tools: Create FREE Engaging AI Videos 10X Faster
Vidnoz AI has several tools. Their AI video generator is similar to Synthesia, although the voices and avatars seem to be not quite as good. if you want to try out AI video generation, this looks like a great option for experimenting and exploring because you can generate 3 minutes of video for free. This site also has other tools, some with a freemium model, such as face swapping and background removal.
AI Story Generator (Free, No Signup & Unlimited)
This seems like something that could be done with a combination of other tools (an LLM plus an image generator), but this is a tool that creates stories plus images to accompany them. It would be interesting to experiment with as inspiration for training scenarios. However, note that the site claims copyright of all stories created, so don't plan to use this for commercial purposes. Use it for inspiration rather than as the actual content of a story.
