What We Want The Postdoctoral Research Associate will be responsible for exploring the how UV irradiation of C. difficile spores impacts mutation across the genome and how mutation in key metabolic pathways impact C. difficile pathogenesis. The selected candidate will also be responsible for the documentation/publication of their research findings, as well as training undergraduate and junior graduate students in the lab. The main goals of this Research Topic are the following:• Assess CD underdiagnosis and the reasons for underdiagnosis, which can lead to a delay in prescribing adequate therapy and consequently may cause a higher complication rate.
