America’s treasury secretary, Janet Yellen, warned thatChineseoverproduction could damage the global economy. America is concerned that China is expanding exports of green technology such as solar panels to stave off a drop in domestic demand, undercutting foreign manufacturers. Ms Yellen is expected to raise the topic with Chinese officials during her visit to the country, which includes four days of talks.
