Unfortunately, while reviewing DMSO research on PubMed I'm finding conflicting studies that suggest it may cause problems for people that suffer from Type 1 diabetes, kidney and liver pathologies. Ironically, one study suggests it may prevent Type 1 diabetes. It will take some time to review the hundreds of studies and form a conclusion, if one is possible. CAUTION is advised at this time.
