DMSO can be administered orally (NOT recommended), topically, intranasally and as an IV. Unfortunately, while reviewing DMSO research on PubMed I'm finding conflicting studies that suggest it may cause problems for people that suffer from Type 1 diabetes, kidney and liver pathologies. Ironically, one study suggests it may prevent Type 1 diabetes. It will take some time to review the hundreds of studies and form a conclusion, if one is possible. Extreme CAUTION is advised at this time.
