Why do we want to be concerned with seasonal or allergies right now? One of the big reasons we want to be concerned about seasonal allergies is seasonal allergies have a couple of different effects on people right now in terms of the risk of developing a problem. One of them happens to be that seasonal allergies can overwhelm your immune system. When you're so busy fighting the pollen, or other components from the external environment, from the plant world releasing all of its good stuff right now, then your immune system gets very, very busy dealing with all of those things. And so that creates a huge histamine burden. And this is where a lot of the symptoms come from
So the pollen and the other things again lead to a histamine burden, which is in a sense is a distraction from your immune system. Having less of the capacity of the ability to fight a potential Coronavirus infection so it can increase your susceptibility. So high levels of allergies right now can actually increase your susceptibility.
And that is one of the things that we want to try to avoid right now. Now I've done this several shows in the last couple of weeks on different things you can do for immune support, different kinds of supplements, different types of lifestyle behaviors, different types of things that you should be really focusing on right now to make sure that your immune system system stays as healthy as it can. So if you haven't seen those or haven't watched those, you can go check out our Coronavirus resource page that we've put together for you.
