Another tidbit from my Dwiggins/Linotype files: In late April 1947, C.H. Griffith wrote a letter to Dwiggins with the heading “A Study in Proportion”. CHG had been puzzling over something in the final sizing of the Falcon series. He had the drawings and punches checked against the master graphs, and all checked out.
