Typical inflammatory conditions like cardiovascular disease, diabetes etc are known to have hypercoagulation - which is a hallmark of systemic inflammation. Microclots and platelet hyperactivation are both present in these conditions. Longcovid has significantly more microclots

This is starting to get frustrating ~ Another #LongCovid pt travels across the world to Germany & gets a simple blood test which reveals a clear biomarker - #MicroClots

The fact we still don’t have this simple test readily available is a failure. What are we waiting for??
