DO NOT TAKE NSAIDS WITH COVID INFECTIONS:

Study in South Korea reviewed 225,458 COVID-19 patients.

NSAID use within 14 days of diagnosis was linked to a 1.79x higher chance of long COVID.

New recommendation on Metformin out from @CochraneCanada CANPCC guideline on Long COVID Post -COVID condition. Conditional recommendation in favor of using Metformin for people with COVID-19 infection to prevent Post-COVID Condition/Long Covid/PASC. It could prevent 41/1,000 cases of Long Covid. Very important for primary care practice.
