excellent thread on hand hygiene preoccupation by CDC and refusal to acknowledge Covid (and flu) as airborne viruses largely transmitted by aerosols, with fomites responsible for much fewer transmissions.
Right now we’re in it but if you were to look back at this era w the benefit of a century it would be CLEAR that the pandemic, just like in 1918, accelerated fascism as it brought eugenicist ideas into the mainstream
