She's on disability from work b/c of memory issues. She can't drive or do household tasks & is forgetting things she should know. Her writing has even changed.
She's 54. The kicker?”
“Caught up with quite a few friends over Xmas (most aged under 40) and nearly all now have alcohol allergies, deteriorating eyesight, new auto-immune diseases, shingles, rotting teeth, significant flu/pneumonia after-effects, muscle degeneration or persistent heart, brain or lung issues since 2021/22 but shhh, don’t anyone dare say the word COVID.
“If anyone tells you that we are in a better place now than in the beginning of the pandemic, it’s a lie. People are dying more in the chronic phase of Covid than in the acute stage, and those who survive, are left with chronic illnesses that may become permanent.
We must remain resilient.”
