There’s a simple fix here. We think Facebook can apply the same degree of thought they put into the app into building a brand name of their own. An app about stories shouldn’t start with someone else’s story. Facebook should stop using our brand name.

Google is likely to tap longtime ad products head Susan Wojcicki as the new head of YouTube, according to two people briefed on the discussions, a surprising move that would place one of the company's earliest employees at the helm of the video unit.

Susan Wojcicki, SVP of advertising for Google, will lead its YouTube unit, sources said. The news was first reported as likely by The Information late Tuesday night. Wojcicki was employee No. 16 at Google, and she famously housed the company in the early days out of her Menlo Park, Calif., garage.

Next week, the Xbox One will get its first major patch since its launch. Microsoft will release the update on Feb. 11.
