What are cyber 360s?
Last year we launched the Cyber 360 programme, which aims to support councils as they work to reduce cyber risk, by encouraging a whole-council approach to Cyber Security. They involve a multi-disciplinary team of council peers and external experts spending two or three days with a council, offering advice and support, and following up with a reflective report.
Why should I volunteer?
Volunteers are an integral part of the Cyber 360 process. They conduct the insightful conversations which enable us to see the strengths and improvements of each council.
The Cyber Helpline is the cyber community coming together to fill the huge gap in support for victims of cybercrime and online harm.
We're seeking volunteers, in the UK and US, who can give just a few hours a week to this cause, and be part of a dynamic exciting organisation.
Volunteering at The Cyber Helpline is a great way to use your skills to help people, but also a great way to develop your career, gain experience and do some good.
All of our volunteers work remotely using online collaboration tools, so it is easy to fit in around your study or work

Volunteer with the Cybersecurity Forum Initiative (CSFI) – Lead and be led. Learn and grow.
"The Cyber Security Forum Initiative (CSFI) is unique in its mission of maintaining and furthering those advantages by fostering Cyber awareness and collaboration among the U.S. government, military, and commercial sectors, as well as with international partners. CSFI is prescient not only in its work in defeating current Cyber threats but also in anticipating future challenges. In its provision of security solutions, guidance and education on Cyber issues, CSFI is working to prepare government and industry for the Cyber challenges to come. By promoting collaboration and an exchange of ideas on Cyber between government and industry, CSFI is not only helping give our military services, intelligence, and law enforcement agencies the skills and resources they need both to protect us and to project American power."
