The Index to Proceedings (ITP) is an annual/sessional bibliographic guide to the proceedings and documentation of the major organs of the United Nations:
General Assembly (ST/LIB/SER.B/A.-) Economic and Social Council (ST/LIB/SER.B/E.-) Security Council (ST/LIB/SER.B/S.-) Trusteeship Council (1947-1994) (ST/LIB/SER.B/T.-) The ITP is prepared by the UN Dag Hammarskjöld Library at the end of each session/year to allow for all documentation to be issued and included.
It provides citation to the parliamentary documentation, meaning it provides the UN document symbols required to find the desired information in the Official Document System (ODS) or the United Nations Digital Library.

The ITP was published in print format until 2011. Since the 65th session of the General Assembly, 66th year of the Security Council and 2010 session of the ECOSOC it has been published only as a digital publication with direct links to the full-text documents in all of the official UN languages.
The ITP is also widely held by UN depository libraries and other libraries worldwide. It is currently available in English only.
Each Index consists of:
A comprehensive subject index to all the documents (reports, letters, meeting records, resolutions, etc.) issued by the body during a particular session/year An index to speeches delivered before the body during a particular session/year. The Blue Book provides a list of the representatives of Member States to the United Nations. The complete collection from 1946 up to today is now conveniently accessible and searchable in the UN Digital Library.

UNTERM is a multilingual database for official terminology relevant to the work of the United Nations. It is a public website used by UN delegates and staff, as well as other users who are interested in the work and activities of the United Nations around the world.
Official terminology is provided in the six official languages of the United Nations — Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian and Spanish — in line with the General Assembly mandate on multilingualism.
UNTERM contains terminology entries from entities across the UN system. To ensure consistency across the UN system, the database is managed by UN language staff specialized in each subject.
NATO Terminology NATO Term - contains non-classified military terminology, as well as non-military terminology relevant to NATO. (Available through JEL and JEL+ only)

The HAPI Thesaurus and Name Authority contains in two sections all currently accepted access points to information appearing in the Hispanic American Periodicals Index from 1970 through 2000. The Thesaurus lists subject headings and cross references; the Name Authority lists personal and corporate names and cross references.

This database includes officers of the Department who were Presidential appointees (appointed by the President with the advice and consent of the Senate) and chiefs of bureaus who hold rank equivalent to Assistant Secretary of State. These include: Secretaries, Deputy Secretaries, Under Secretaries, Deputy Under Secretaries, Assistant Secretaries, Counselors, Legal Advisers, Chiefs of Protocol, and certain administrators.
Other positions have, from time to time, been included in the database based on their particular circumstances. The complete lists of heads of the United States Information Agency (USIA), for example, are included. USIA was incorporated into the Department in 1999. Other Chiefs of Mission of particular historical interest have also been included.
