In April 2010, volunteers began a project to scan and catalog the pictures which are owned by the Society. As of December 2021, we have scanned nearly 10,000 of the pictures and have made over 9,300 available via this web site.

The Historical Society’s record keeping system is called PastPerfect. This is an online KEYWORD search database providing researchers the ability to search our records without having to travel to our Headquarters. Library books, vertical files and AV materials are indexed online. Our volunteers are continuing to input records from our extensive document base. Past Perfect also has a link to The Maryland Historical Trust’s information on the state inventoried Harford County properties.

The LAUSD Art & Artifact Collection/Archive and Museum is a program of the LAUSD Arts Education Branch, Division of Instruction, in association with the Facilities Services Division. It consists of a public Collection across more than 1,000 schools and District administrative sites, a unique Archive located in downtown Los Angeles, and a historical Museum made to resemble a 20th Century school house.
