Relational Quantum Dynamics and Indra’s Net: A non-dual understanding of quantum reality
Relational Quantum Dynamics and Indra’s Net: A non-dual understanding of quantum reality
Professor Zaghi introduces Relational Quantum Dynamics (RQD), a further development of Carlo Rovelli's Relational Quantum Mechanics (RQM) with a solid mathematical and metaphysical basis. RQD circumvents the infinite regress inherent to RQM (everything being constituted of relations between meta-relations, and these consisting of relations between meta-meta-relations, etc., ad infinitum) by proposing that, although all physical entities are indeed relational, the relations—and even spacetime itself—arise within an underlying field awareness.

Pirate code - Wikipedia
Pirate code - Wikipedia
A pirate code, pirate articles, or articles of agreement were a code of conduct for governing ships of pirates, notably between the 17th and 18th centuries, during the so-called "Golden Age of Piracy". The typical pirate crew was an unorthodox mixture of former sailors, escaped convicts, disillusioned men, and possibly escapee or former slaves, among others, looking for wealth at any cost; once aboard a seafaring vessel, the group would draw-up their own ship- and crew-specific code, which listed and described the crew's policies surrounding pirate behavior and the associated disciplinary action, should a code be violated. Failing to honor the code could get a pirate marooned, whipped, beaten, or even executed. For less serious violations, a pirate may have been temporarily denied equal food rations, or made to clean or maintain parts of the ship for a time. Primarily, these articles were designed to keep order aboard the ship, avoid dissension or mutinies, and ensure the crews' loyalty, all of which was crucial to the group's mutual survival.

Diel vertical migration - Wikipedia
Diel vertical migration - Wikipedia
Diel vertical migration (DVM), also known as diurnal vertical migration, is a pattern of movement used by some organisms, such as copepods, living in the ocean and in lakes. The adjective "diel" comes from Latin: diēs, lit. 'day', and refers to a 24-hour period. The migration occurs when organisms move up to the uppermost layer of the water at night and return to the bottom of the daylight zone of the oceans or to the dense, bottom layer of lakes during the day. DVM is important to the functioning of deep-sea food webs and the biologically-driven sequestration of carbon.

The primate gut microbiota contributes to interspecific differences in host metabolism
The primate gut microbiota contributes to interspecific differences in host metabolism
Because large brains are energetically expensive, they are associated with metabolic traits that facilitate energy availability across vertebrates. However, the biological underpinnings driving these traits are not known. Given its role in regulating host metabolism in disease studies, we hypothesized that the gut microbiome contributes to variation in normal cross-vertebrate species differences in metabolism, including those associated with the brain’s energetic requirements. By inoculating germ-free mice with the gut microbiota (GM) of three primate species – two with relatively larger brains and one with a smaller brain – we demonstrated that the GM of larger-brained primates shifts host metabolism towards energy use and production, while that of smaller-brained primates stimulates energy storage in adipose tissues. Our findings establish a causal role of the GM in normal cross-host species differences in metabolism associated with relative brain size and suggest that the GM may have been an important facilitator of metabolic changes during human evolution that supported encephalization.

Union Versus Menegement - Joseph Edwards | Theory and Analysis - Organise Magazine
The reason why I think trade-union representation should do these things is because basically a union is a political organization, and in truth and in fact Africans and other Black people in these times cannot afford the luxury of any special organization for any special purpose.
